This isn't a commercial operation. It's a small apiary where the honey comes from right here in the Chattanooga area, and you can find it locally at a shop down the road.
The Honey
Every jar of Northwoods Apiary honey is raw and unfiltered — 100% natural, exactly the way the bees made it. Nothing added, nothing stripped out.

Good to Know
Most honey on grocery shelves has been heated and ultra-filtered, which strips out pollen, enzymes, and antioxidants. Raw honey is a different product entirely.
Raw honey is strained lightly and bottled — no high heat, no fine filtration. Everything the bees put into it stays in the jar: natural enzymes, pollen, and trace antioxidants.
Honey from a nearby apiary contains pollen from the plants actually growing in your area. Mass-produced honey is often blended from multiple countries, making the origin impossible to trace.
Small-scale beekeepers directly support local pollinator populations. Managed hives help sustain the bees that pollinate gardens, farms, and native plants across the region.
Raw honey may turn solid over time. That's a sign it hasn't been over-processed. A few minutes in warm water brings it right back.
